Chelsea have won the race to sign highly-rated Portugal full back Jose Bosingwa.
The player is expected to sign a five-year contract this week after the Blues beat off interest from Manchester United, Liverpool, Real Madrid, Juventus and Bayern Munich.
Bosingwa, 25, has won the Champions League with Porto and helped them lift four league titles in five years.
Chelsea officials clinched a deal for the Congo-born player after talks on Friday, says the News of the World.
Bosingwa played alongside fellow countrymen Ricardo Carvalho and Paulo Ferreira at Porto under Jose Mourinho in the 2003-04 season.
The versatile six-footer can also operate in midfield - but his best position is right-back.
