Bolton face a scrap with Everton in the race to sign Fulham midfielder Jimmy Bullard in January.
The ex-Wigan midfielder is happy at Craven Cottage, but boss Roy Hodgson does not fancy him and refuses to discuss a new deal with the fans' favourite.

Bullard, 29, and Danny Murphy are struggling alongside each other in central midfield and Hodgson will take around £4million for Bullard, the News of the World says.

He is desperate to add some bite to his strugglers and will spend what cash he gets for Bullard on a midfield enforcer.
