Spurs boss Juande Ramos says he has more important things to worry about than Jermain Defoe — like hauling Tottenham off the bottom of the table.
The Spurs boss takes his struggling side to Portsmouth on Sunday.
It will be the first time he has faced his former striker Defoe since flogging him to Pompey in January for £7.5million.
But the Spaniard insists he is more concerned with trying to lead Tottenham to their first top-flight victory of the season.
He said: "I don't know if Defoe has improved since going to Portsmouth.
"I don't see the games so I can't comment. I am only thinking about Spurs, the team, the players.
"I can't even think about Portsmouth. They have a manager to deal with their problems. I focus all my attention on Spurs. If Spurs play OK, we will win. If not, lose."
