United 'set to sign' Welsh wonderkid

Manchester United are reportedly poised to beat Chelsea and Arsenal to the £5million signing of Cardiff City's teenage ace Aaron Ramsey.
The Premiership champions could sign the 17-year-old midfielder at the weekend, following the FA Cup final between Championship outfit Cardiff and Portsmouth, according to the Daily Mirror.

It is reported that United could offer Cardiff at least one player on loan for next season as part of the deal which will see Ramsey as a possible long-term replacement for Paul Scholes.
