Omar Bogle is confident Wigan Athletic can lick their wounds over the summer and coming back ready to ‘bounce back’ in League One next term.
The young striker only joined Latics midway through the campaign from League Two Grimsby Town, but was unable to fire his new club away from the drop zone.
“It’s been a disappointing start to my Wigan career,” acknowledged Bogle.
“We obviously put up a fight – it wasn’t through any kind of lack of effort from the boys or anything like that.
“If you look back on the games we lost and the goals we conceded...it wasn’t really anyone’s fault.
“It just didn’t happen for us – certain things didn’t go for us at certain moments in games.
“It just makes you begin got think that it’s not your time, that it’s not supposed to happen.
“All we can do it try and take the positives and move on as quickly as we can.
“It’s all about bouncing back now, and that’s what we’re aiming to do.”
