WIGAN Athletic’s allocation of tickets for the FA Cup quarter-final at Manchester City is selling very quickly.
Almost 2,000 of the holders’ fans have booked their place at the Etihad Stadium, the home of their beaten finalists from last year.
The club have confirmed that they have sold out of their allocation in the lower tier with only upper tier tickets remaining.
They only went on sale to season ticket holders yesterday and within hours supporters were snapping them up in the hope of a similar result to that of the final last May.
Should any remain, tickets will be on general sale to supporters with a previous booking history from 9am on Friday.
These are priced at £22.50 for adults, £15 for over-65s and young adults (16-21 years) and £5 for under-16s.
