WIGAN Athletic striker Grant Holt has completed his loan move to Aston Villa.
The 32-year-old has only scored two goals this season after his £1.5million move from Norwich last summer.
However, he has failed to reproduce the form which helped fire Norwich City from League One to the Premier League.
Speaking about the move, Latics boss Uwe Rosler said: ““It is a great opportunity for Grant to work under his previous manager who got the best out of him.
“We will see how he does at Villa and then we will see where we are in the summer.”
Holt, who will stay at Villa Park until the end of the season, looks set to be replaced at Wigan by Nicky Maynard.
The Cardiff striker is expected to sign on loan this week.
