Jussi Jaaskelainen is hoping for another mean Easter weekend as Wigan Athletic aim to take a massive step towards the Championship.
Latics, who got back to winning ways against Bradford last weekend, travel to Swindon on Good Friday before hosting Rochdale on Easter Monday.
After successfully shutting out the Bantams, Jaaskelainen wants more of the same to ease the burden on his colleagues at the other end of the park.
“It’s good to build on clean sheets, because it takes some of the pressure away from people trying to score the goals,” he said.
“It was disappointing to concede three goals away from home at Colchester (the previous week), but that’s just what happens sometimes. And we have to learn from that to keep going the way we are.
“We have nine games to go now, and by the end of the weekend there will be seven, so it’s a massive weekend for us and it would be great to keep going the way we are.
“We have to keep the confidence from previous games and carry them on.”
