WIGAN Athletic will fight tooth and nail to keep hold of Victor Moses, despite reports he could be leaving at the end of the season.
The wing wizard has just over 12 months remaining on his contract, and quotes attributed to his agent suggested he may be looking for a new challenge.
“Vic has a year left on his contract, and we were about to start talks on the extension when he said he does not want to sign a new deal,” Moses’ agent, Tony Finnigan, said.
“He’s played himself into a position where virtually every club in the Premier League want to sign him.”
Latics, though, are hopeful of persuading him to sign a new long-term contract.
