JAMES McArthur looks set to join Leicester City after Latics accepted a bid for their star player.
The midfielder was today (Wednesday) heading to the midlands club to discuss personal terms ahead of the move for a fee believed to be around the £7m mark.
Burnley were also interested in McArthur but they dropped out of the running once the Foxes showed their hands,
Boss Uwe Rosler was hoping to keep hold of his player but the Scottish international expressed an interest in heading back to the Premier League.
Negotiations continued this week and once Wigan’s valuation was met, a deal was agreed this afternoon.
