LATICS chief Uwe Rosler admits he has a big decision to make regarding the future of Nouha Dicko, with two bids on the table for the French striker.
The 21-year-old is back at Wigan after being recalled from his recent loan spell at League One outfit Rotherham. Dicko bagged six goals in five matches for the Millers, who were disappointed when Rosler ordered him back to Wigan before Christmas to have a look at him.
With six months remaining on his contract, Dicko’s future is unclear.
With two bids now having been received – one of which is believed to be from Rotherham – Rosler acknowledges it’s make-your-mind-up time. “We have to make a decision on Nouha, because he has only six months left,” said Rosler, who has yet to make a signing as Wigan boss.
“There are two clubs who have submitted official bids for him, but we are in no rush.
“I need to see a bit more of him in training and in matches before I make up my mind.
“The transfer window is open, and he is ‘hot’ having scored a few goals at Rotherham, and also at Championship level at Blackpool.
“ I know there would be no shortage of takers should he be available.”
Dicko was a late substitute for Wigan during the FA Cup third-round tie against MK Dons last weekend.
It was only his 11th appearance during his two-and-a-half year stay at the DW – none of which have come in the league.
