UWE Rosler is hoping Latics’ trip to Blackburn will give him a welcome selection headache ahead of the play-offs.

The Wigan boss has already pledged to ring the changes having clinched a top-six place with one match to spare.

Centre-back Ivan Ramis is back in full training after a hamstring problem and could feature at Ewood Park, alongside the likes of Jack Collison, Josh McEachran and Thomas Rogne.

Forward Nick Powell has been laid low all week with tonsillitis, but took part in light training on Friday and has an outside chance of making the squad.

“Nick has been sick this week and on antibiotics, but he’s managed to return to training,” added Rosler, who laughed off rumours - emanating from social media - of a fall-out with his top scorer.”
