THOMAS Rogne has called on Wigan Athletic to pick up where they left off when they resume after the international break.
Latics signed off with a hard-fought 2-1 win over Blackburn, and will face another north-west neighbour in Blackpool when Championship combat returns next Saturday.
The Seasiders are flying high after a superb start to the season, and currently occupy the last play-off berth.
But Rogne says Latics are capable of more derby delight - if they play up to their potential.
“We finished off our last block of games with two wins which was fantastic,” Rogne told the Evening Post.
“And the important thing is to pick up where we left off and keep the run going.
“We’ve not been looking at the league table too much because it’s early days and we have games in hand.
“But at some point we’re going to have to address that and start climbing to where we want to be.
“It’s one thing about us talking about how fantastic we’ve been, because of course we haven’t always been fantastic.
“Hopefully in a month’s time I can tell you how great we are, because we’ll be further up the league where we feel we belong.”
Latics have received an allocation of 642 tickets for their Europa League Group D trip to NK Maribor in December. Tickets go on sale on Monday to corporate season ticket holders from 9am, with season ticket holders getting their chance on Tuesday.
Any remaining tickets will go on general sale the following Monday, October 28, to registered supporters of Wigan Athletic with a previous booking history for fixtures at the DW Stadium.
Tickets are priced £13 adults with no concessions.
The game has been confirmed for the Stadion Ljudski vrt, Maribor (7pm CET kick off) on Thursday, December 12.
