UWE Rosler has confirmed he is hopeful to seal a deal for striker Andy Delort before Monday evening.
The Frenchman is hot property at the moment with a number of Championship clubs chasing his signature and his current side Tours keen to sell.
Rosler has revealed that Latics have a bid on the table for the 22-year-old and are hoping they win the race to his signature before the transfer window closes at 11pm on Monday.
“The bid, our second bid, has still not been accepted,” said the Wigan boss.
“Every manager remains very hopeful until the deadline on Monday night. The hope never dies.”
