LATICS fans have made Wembley Way their home once again.

Around 23,000 Wiganers have made their way to the capital to show their support for their club.

The pubs are also swelling too with pre-match nerves swapped with excitement and pride.

Today’s FA Cup final opponents Manchester City are favourites for the clash but Latics supporters are confident.

James Mitchell from Ashton has followed Latics to more than 150 consecutive league games.

And the 20-year-old has been to every match but one on the FA Cup trail this season, having missed the trip to Bournemouth in round three.

He said: “I think everyone thinks city two or three nil but it’s a one off game.

“I can just as easily see us winning both games this week, I’ll be going to Arsenal too on Tuesday.”

James Mitchell snr, 45, said: “We set off from home at 8am this morning, we’ll be staying over tonight. I think we can do it.”
