Wigan Athletic midfielder Lee Evans says they will go into this Saturday's trip to Norwich City '˜full of confidence.'

Latics took their points tally to 16 from their opening nine games of the Championship campaign with Friday’s 1-0 win over Bristol City, and they now sit fifth in the table.Norwich, meanwhile, are up to 11th after they recorded their third straight win last weekend with a 1-0 success over QPR, and Evans acknowledges Saturday’s trip to Carrow Road will be a testing one.“It’s going to be a tough game,” said the Welshman.“They’re a massive club with a good squad, a good manager.“I think they’ve picked-up recently as well and started winning a few games so it’s going to be a tough game.”But Latics are on a roll themselves, having come out of a spell of three games in seven days with six points. And Evans, a summer signing from Sheffield United, says Latics will be making the trip this weekend with their tails up.He said: “At the moment we’re doing well so we’re going to go into it full of confidence.”
