SEAN O’Loughlin has today undergone knee surgery which has ruled him out of this weekend’s blockbuster against Brisbane.

The Wigan skipper had already been a major doubt before scan results were known.

Coach Shaun Wane confirmed he will be out for around six weeks, starting with Saturday’s World Club Series against the Broncos.

But centre Dan Sarginson, George Williams and Taulima Tautai are expected to return.

Wane was speaking ahead of an opposed training session with Souths at Warriors’ training base in Orrell, which attracted hundreds of fans.
