HALSALL switched places at the top with Highfield Grange after coming from 2-0 down to beat them 4-3.

Dave Quigley and Jamie Harris put Highfield Grange two goals up but goals from John Carter, Scot Wissett and Ben Proud put Halsall 3-2 up.

Tom Jackson then equalised but an 82nd-minute goal from Danny Viqerat gave the points to Halsall in a terrific encounter.

Aspull, who entertain Beehive from Blackburn in the quarter-finals of the Lancashire Cup this coming Sunday, were held to a 2-2 draw by Digmoor with all the goals coming in a storming second half.

Samir Sobeiah gave Aspull the lead but Dave Stodden and Charlie Bloomfield put Digmoor 2-1 up. However, Liam Duffy equalised with the last kick of the match.

Chad White of Leigh Genesis hit four goals as his side won 5-2 against Wigan Cosmos.

Penlake visited Golborne Parkside and won 3-2 with Paul Watson, 2, and Jordan Lee on target for Penlake.

Paul Wroe and Aaron Sinnett kept Golborne Parkside in the game after finding themselves 2-0 down after only 10 minutes.

In Division One, Whitley moved up to joint second behind Lancashire Ice after a 4-0 win against Radley FC.

Keiron Madden, 2, Chris Butler and Dean Smith were on target.

Leaders Up Holland went down 2-1 against Aspull reserves.

Tom Green gave Aspull the lead at the interval but Shane Gaskell then equalised.

Will Rogers hit the winner late in the second half.

St Cuthbert’s visited Up Holland Rangers and won 5-1 thanks to Jimmy Demmings and Dorouan Chinamutu each scoring a brace and Terry Bridge grabbing a goal.

Paul Gregory struck a late consolation goal for Up Holland Rangers.

Orrell Athletic are fourth in the table after coming from behind to win 4-3 at AFC Leigh.

Chris Duffy hit a hat-trick for the visitors with Steve Greaves also on target for Orrell Athletic.

Olympic Athletic dropped to the bottom of the table after losing 5-2 against Parklands who have now moved off the bottom. David Williams gave Olympic the lead but Joe Liptrot, 2, Tony Lewis, Mike Hoodless and Daniel Ashton were on target for Parklands.

Dave Williams was again on target for Olympic’s second goal. Ormskirk Royals moved to the top of Division Three after a 2-0 win against bottom-placed Astley and Tyldesley.

Troy Pitkin stroked home a penalty in the first half with Sam Miller doubling the lead in the second.

Standish Potters visited Digmoor Reserves and came away with a 2-1 victory with Johan Du Toit striking twice.

Leigh Madrid and Wargrave Rovers shared six goals in a 3-3 thriller.

Jack Heyes, 2 and Chris Heyes score a late equaliser for Leigh Madrid.
