WIGAN motoring starlet Josh Daley will make his debut in the British Superbike paddock this year racing in the Pirelli National Superstock 600 class for 16-25 year olds.

Last season Josh, 16, was competing in the Thundersport GB championship and won the Formula 400 class convincingly, setting lap records at all eight circuits he raced at.

He also raced at Aintree circuit and won the Formula 400 championship there (for the second year in succession) and finished second in the Open 500 class, breaking race records in both classes and a new lap record in the Formula 400 class, all of which have stood since 2004.

Josh has been training hard over the winter to ready himself for the season ahead, with excellent support and advice from RM Fitness.

He has the backing from some other local businesses including Wigan Kawasaki, Fleetsmart, Calland & Cunliffe Building contractors, Jones IT UK, LBF Solutions as well as friends and family.

The first round of action will see Josh race at Brands Hatch on the weekend of 5/6/7 April followed by a trip to Thruxton the week after.

All of his races are live on British Eurosport, with highlight shows on ITV4.

Josh can be followed on Twitter @joshdaleyracing or on his facebook page www.facebook.com/joshdaleyracing or his website www.joshdaleyracing.com.
