SAM Tomkins has turned his attentions to Wembley and Australia after bagging a four-try haul against Wales last Saturday.
The Warriors full-back [pictured] made a stunning start to England’s opening Four Nations account, claiming the plaudits and man of the match honours in a 42-4 victory.
And he hopes their strong second-half display will prove the ideal launch-pad towards toppling the Kangaroos – and giving the code a huge shot in the arm.
He said: “It’s been a while since we beat Australia and it’s about time we beat them. We’re a growing sport in this country, we are getting bigger and beating the Aussies at Wembley would be massive.
“I’ve only been to Wembley once before (Wigan’s Challenge Cup triumph in August) and that ended well – and there’s nothing more special play playing the Aussies there.”
