WIGAN Warriors will be true blues in 2011!

The Warriors have today unveiled their new away kit for Super League XVI ahead of a town-centre shirt launch tomorrow.

The champions have reverted back to blue, having played in a black alternate kit last season.

And after the ground-breaking move to change the traditional cherry and white home kit, Wigan have again opted for something new with their alternative strip – a distinctive white flash in the form of a ‘W’ on the front of the reflect blue design.

The KooGa shirt, which will display the logo of new main sponsor Applicado-FS across the chest, will be worn with blue shorts and socks both with a white trim.

Coach Michael Maguire said: “We are really pleased with the new away look for 2011 and think it will prove very popular with our loyal fans. It looks great and I can’t wait to see thousands of Warriors supporters wearing the new shirt during 2011.”

The new shirt is available now to pre-order and is being officially launched with two first-team stars in Warriors World shop, in the Grand Arcade from 6pm to 7pm tomorrow (Thursday).

The shirt can be ordered online at www.wiganwarriors.com and by calling the merchandise hotline on 01942 239655.
