WARRIORS today revealed a ground-breaking scheme for season ticket holders to claim huge cash back bonuses.
The club this morning publishes its ticket prices for 2012.
Match day admission tickets have risen £1 across the board and adults season tickets have increased between £8 and £12 – children’s tickets remain unchanged at £26 for all home and away Super League games.
But the big change to this year’s price plan is the introduction of a ‘recruitment bonus’ in which fans are rewarded for luring friends or family members to the games.
For example, a fan who introduces two new season ticket holders can receive up to £47 cash back, while a fan who recruits five new season ticket holders will get their seat at the DW Stadium free.
Wigan enjoyed a record average home attendance of 16,125 last year and hope this new initiative – thought to be the first in Super League – will swell that figure even more.
Warriors rugby general manager – and club legend – Kris Radlinski said: “Being a season ticket holder is more than just watching a rugby league game, it offers great discounts and great value for money, it is also about belonging to the club and showing the world you’re love and passion for Wigan Rugby League.
“The recruitment bonus is also a great way for fans to receive direct discounts or cash back on their season ticket. We all know mates and family who come to games and I would urge everyone to get out there, round them up to buy a season ticket and enjoy the great rewards in return.”
An adult season ticket starts from just £197 for renewals and £211 for new purchases, while even greater savings can be had with a family package.
