SCOTT Taylor is convinced Wigan can help him progress to the next level.
The prop’s capture from Hull KR on a two-year deal – with an option for a third season – was confirmed today.
And in his first interview, the 21-year-old outlined his ambitions for next season.
Taylor said: “I can’t wait to start, I’m really excited about it.
“I’ve only ever experienced one club and, no disrespect to Hull KR, but as soon as I stepped into the Wigan gym I felt it was right for me.
“I think they’ve got the facilities and the coaches to take me to the next level.”
Warriors have paid Hull KR a “substantial” transfer fee to land Taylor, just weeks after shelling out to recruit his team-mate Blake Green.
“It carries a bit of pressure, with there being a transfer fee, and I intend to make the most of this chance,” said Taylor, who made his England debut earlier this year.
