Sky's the limit for fight night

Fight fans will descend on Wigan this Friday night for a televised title bout.

Irish champion Jamie Moore and Michele Piccirillo of Italy will clash for the vacant European light middleweight belt.

Moore has won his last 10 bouts and a bumper crowd is expected at Robin Park Centre to watch this weekend's clash, which will be screened on Sky Sports Two this Friday from 10pm.

There will also be a lot of interest on the undercard when Beijing Olympics bronze medallist Darren Sutherland has his second professional fight.

He takes on Siarhei Navarka of Belarus.

In Sutherland's debut in Dublin two months ago, he stopped Bulgarian Georgi Iliev in two minutes and 44 seconds.

Sutherland's manager Frank Maloney said the plan was for Sutherland to have three or four fights this year, including a possible title challenge against Irish champion Brian Magee in May.
