A HAT-TRICK from Jordi Gomez gave Wigan Athletic a thoroughly-deserved first win in three matches in dramatic fashion.
Latics trailed at the break through Sean Morrison’s close-range header.
But a stirring second-half display saw Gomez put them 2-1 ahead - and they had chances to put the game to bed which they failed to take.
It looked like they’d be made to pay a high price when Hal Robson-Kanu’s shot looped into the air off David Jones, and Ali Al Habsi fumbled the ball over the line with 12 minutes left.
But with the 90 minutes up, Franco di Santo’s cross was slammed home by the Spaniard to send the home fans wild.
