Antonio Valencia is expected to sign for Manchester United in the next 24 hours.

The Ecuadorian, 23, is believed to be in Manchester undergoing a medical and discussing personal terms.

And the completion of the club-record sale, understood to be in the region of 15million, is said to be imminent.

United see Valencia as the perfect replacement for Portuguese winger Cristiano Ronald - who left the club this month to join Spanish giants Real Madrid for a world-record fee of 80million.
