Wigan sign Beausejour
JEAN Beausejour is Wigan Athletic’s first signing of the January transfer window.
The Chilean international has put pen to paper on a two-and-a-half year deal after passing a medical at the DW.
And after twice failing to land the winger in the past, Roberto Martinez was delighted to make it third time lucky for an undisclosed fee in the region of £2.5million.
“Jean is a player we have been tracking for a long time, since he made a huge impression on us with his role for Chile in the World Cup,” Martinez told the Evening Post.

Thursday, January 26, 2012 at 11:38 AMIf he only scores one goal it will be better than most of our current players. Also wingers are by and large creators of goals, lets see if he can work well with either rod, di Santo or Sammon? Remeber Caleb Folan. Came in scored only two goals, but mixed things up a bit and kept us in the league. Doubt this lad can do this, but could happen?
