Great night for Lockers

SEAN O’Loughlin insisted defeat did nothing to take the shine off his testimonial game last night.

The Warriors skipper started and finished the match – and fans were treated to the sight of Kris Radlinski lacing up the boots again – as an inexperienced side went down 30-18 to a strong Huddersfield team at the DW Stadium.

But the young-guns gave a good account of themselves in front of 5,652 fans, and O’Loughlin said: “It’s been a great night.

“I’d like to thank all the fans for coming out, all the players I’ve played with for the last 10 years, and all the fans who’ve made it so special.”

Radlinski played the final 14 minutes of the match at second-row and coach Shaun Wane said: “It speaks volumes about how highly Sean is regarded at the club that Rads is prepared to play again after more than five years out.”

The problem is joness66 is just as unpopular on the latics area that he has nowhere to go! I'm not a great lover of the latics but I wouldn't bother to go over to that area to say so.

jones66 i think your help is urgently required on the Latics stories, infact they need as much help as they can get. As Status Quo once sang....Down,Down deeper & down.
