New boys ready to rip in
Warriors' new boys pictured with coach Shaun Wane are LtR: Anthony Gelling, Ben Flower, Gil Dudson, Epalahame Lauaki
WIGAN fans will get their first glimpse of the club’s 2012 recruits in action this Sunday.
Shaun Wane today confirmed he plans to unleash the Warriors’ four new signings against Hull KR at Craven Park.
Props Epalahame Lauaki, Gil Dudson, Ben Flower and Kiwi centre Anthony Gelling will play some part in Wigan’s opening game of the year.
And Wane is looking forward to seeing them play having been impressed with their contributions during an intense winter training schedule.
He said: “The new boys have been great, they’ve really settled in and I’m confident they’ll do a good job for us. They will all be playing some part against Hull KR, unless they pick up any knocks during the week.
“They have a bit to prove, but the off-season has been successful, in part, because they are here – they have brought things to us.
“Epalahame, Gil and Ben are three big blokes and then on the edge we have Anthony, who is raw but very athletic.” Wigan’s trip to Hull KR – kick-off 3pm – is the first of three pre-season friendlies ahead of the new Super League campaign on February 5.
They host Huddersfield in Sean O’Loughlin’s testimonial the following Thursday and travel to Salford five days later.

Anyway, what is annoying me more (yes, more than Jemmy) is the continual use of the phrase "rip in." The season hasn't even begun and this phrase is being overused.
