Warriors half-back Thomas Leuluai is in a race against time.
The in-form Kiwi will be jetting halfway around the world to take his place in the Challenge Cup tie against Whitehaven on Monday.
Wigan coach Brian Noble insists he wants the 22-year-old in his side at the JJB Stadium (kick-off 7.30pm).
And he intends to play him even though he may only have been back in
England a few hours.

Leuluai flew out earlier this week to represent New Zealand in today's Centenary Test against Australia in Sydney.
Wigan were initially reluctant to release him as the Test was so close to the Whitehaven game, but they relented under pressure from the international federation.

But Noble has told the player to hop straight on a flight back home.
He said: "Thomas was one of only a small handful of players who performed up to standard against St Helens.
"He's probably been our most consistent player this season and I want to see him taking on Whitehaven.
"It's going to be a tight schedule, but if he can make it, then he will play."

The pressure on Leuluai is also a clear indication of how seriously Warriors are taking this fifth round tie after three straight Super League losses.
Wigan will find themselves in the unusual position of knowing which team they might face in the next round of the cup before they play on Monday.
The draw for the quarter-finals will take place at 6.45pm – 45 minutes before kick-off.

Meanwhile, back-row forward Gareth Hock has signed a 12-month
extension to his current contract which will keep him at the club until the end of 2011.

He said: "I'm a Wigan lad and I love playing for my home-town club.
"My aim is to have a good second half to the season with the hope of helping us to a final and being selected for England in the World Cup."

Noble said:"It was always a pleasure working with Gareth when I was Great Britain coach and since I have joined Wigan, that
admiration has grown.
"He is a tough, resilient player who wears his heart on his sleeve."

Hock served his one-match ban for fighting at Bradford a fortnight ago against St Helens so is free to face Whitehaven.

Wigan Reserves have a home game against Hull KR at Orrell tomorrow (kick off 2.30pm). Also tomorrow, the Under-18s travel to The
Willows to play Salford (1pm).

Manly have released ex-Wigan centre David Vaealiki from his NRL contract to take up a two-year offer to play union in France.

Leuluai is vastly overrated. If he's the best New zealand have got then they are in for a big hiding off the Aussies.

You're only jealous because none of your overpaid and over here and over-rated players got picked.
