Lockyer rumours not true

Wigan Warriors have all but confirmed that they will not be signing a new player to replace Trent Barrett - and also quashed rumours linking them with Darren Lockyer.
Current stars Thomas Leuluai and Tim Smith are almost certain to be the first-choice half-backs next season.
Lenagan said: "When Trent goes they are big boots to fill.
"But we do feel that Thomas and Tim will be an excellent combination. All the rumours about Lockyer are not true."
Lenagan had never commented on the Lockyer link before.
Wigan also have promising stand-off Sam Tomkins waiting in the wings. Smith, who was recruited from Parramatta in mid-season, seems the most likely candidate to switch to No.6 once Barrett departs for Cronulla at the end of the season.
But former Kangaroos star Barrett said either could fill the position, insisting: "The way we play it, there's not too much difference between the roles."
