Phelps looking for knockout

Knockout rugby has taken on a whole new meaning for Warriors' Aussie ace Cameron Phelps.
But the plucky centre is back on his feet and ready to face Catalans Dragons in the sudden-death play-off clash tomorrow despite being laid flat out and stretchered off last weekend.
Phelps was knocked out cold for the second time this season as Warriors halted Bradford in their tracks at Widnes.
But he has made a full recovery and is looking forward to a glorious return to a ground that holds special memories for the Australian.
Phelps scored a try on his debut for Wigan at the Stade Gilbert Brutus in June.
And even though Warriors lost that day, Phelps was encouraged by a close 45-38 final scoreline, and even more when they returned to
Perpignan two months later and drew 16-16.
He said: "This ground holds no worries for me. We took them pretty close in my first game for the club and I felt we ought to have won it.
"To score 38 points and lose is unusual. Then we drew there in an even tighter game, so if we can step it up again, I think we can win."
Phelps, who was also knocked out cold against Harlequins in June, is growing accustomed to his role as head boy in the school of hard knocks.
He added: "I seem to be copping for a few, don't I?
"I was certainly wobbly on my feet after the game at Widnes, but I feel fine now."
Not surprisingly, Phelps is recommending that Warriors try to avoid too many midfield confrontations with the fearsome Catalans pack.
He added: "Their forwards are a big set. Even coming off the bench, they seem to be able to add bulk.
"That Jamal Fakir regularly operates on the interchange and he's a huge bloke.
"We need to be smarter and try to get the ball out wide.
"We've already shown that we can score tries against them if we can do that."
Meanwhile, Catalans Dragons will be without their influential loose-forward Gregory Mounis for tomorrow's game after he was handed a
suspension.
Mounis was given a one-match ban after being found guilty of striking an opponent with his elbow during the 46-8 win over Warrington.
The 23-year-old has only missed one match so far this season.
