Youngster Lee Mossop is hoping to muscle into the first-team frame more regularly after a promising Super League debut.
The 19-year-old came off the bench against Harlequins after Phil Bailey was ruled out.

"The speed is a lot quicker – I hadn't been on a minute and I was out of breath!" he smiled. "It was great to play alongside such awesome players, and then you look at the opposition and see Scott Hill and Henry Paul, it's unreal.

"I've been training full-time, trying to impress and waiting to get the nod. The competition for backrow places is massive but hopefully I can carry on improving and play more often."

This Saturday's away reserve game against Harlequins has been brought forward two hours to 12.30pm.

As an expatriate Whitehaven Marra, who remembers the Great Dick (Tiger) Huddart, I know Lee will follow in his illustrious footsteps!! Although playing for Wigan, not Saints, as Dick Huddart did. Whitehaven, at that time, couldn't refuse the fee.
