Tomkins is hero after Cup win

Teenager Sam Tomkins woke up this morning as the name on everyone's lips after an amazing Warriors debut.
The 19-year-old made his first-team bow in the Challenge Cup tie with Whitehaven last night and scored a staggering five tries as Wigan hit the century mark against their League One rivals.
The amazing 18-try 106-8 victory – the first time Warriors have scored 100 points since the famous Flimby and Fothergill Challenge Cup
massacre in 1924 – has brought the reward of a clash at Leeds in the quarter-finals.
Tomkins, handed his chance due to Thomas Leuluai playing in the
Centenary Test for New Zealand against Australia in Sydney at the weekend, raced in for a hat-trick in the opening 12 minutes before going on to his personal haul of five tries.
He said: "I was excited when I found out I was playing a couple of days ago
"I had only been getting a couple of hours sleep a night thinking about what might happen. I would have been made up just to get one try.
"When I got two so early on, it made me determined to get a hat-trick and that was brilliant. But to end up with five is just unbelievable.
"It was just like a dream out there. It's a night I don't think I will forget."
But skipper Sean O'Loughlin is warning of far tougher times ahead.
O'Loughlin said: "Sam's a great kid and thoroughly deserves all he's achieved last night.
"We need everybody playing well including the new faces.
"We wanted to win well to make it up to the fans after we let them down so badly against St Helens in Cardiff.
"We never imagined we were going to get 100 points. But we all know that the job isn't finished yet. We still owe the fans in Super League, and we've got two huge games coming up starting with Warrington on Friday.
"It's this match that will really tell us if we've learned our lessons from the St Helens game."
Coach Brian Noble said: "What a fantastic debut for Sam.
"To score five tries on your debut is very special.
"Let's not put him in the 'Universe' team yet – but we know we've got a good talent, he's a good player.
"All the boys have shown an element of response to last week, but we need to show that determination against Warrington, which we're
already looking forward to.
"It should do the confidence a lot of good. To score 106 points against
anybody is a fine achievement.
"And it's a great tie at Leeds in the next round.
"If you have aspirations of winning things you've got to go there and win, and they'll be very wary of us.
"It's the tie of the round and we're looking forward to it."
Whitehaven coach Ged Stokes said: "I think we caught a Wigan backlash."
