My weirdest day

"You are walking up a tunnel, there is a door at the end," says the voice.
"You know what's behind the door even before you open it," it adds. And I do.
It's a glaciated valley, there's dew on the green grass, the whiff of burnt out fires is almost choking and I'm looking at the snow-covered mountains, in an animal-fur cloak.
"Open the door," says the voice "and walk through."
The first golden rule of past life regression is never ever attempt to fit it in for half an hour during a hectic day filled with deadlines.
As I reach for the door handle I'm pulled back by some giant elastic band of the mind, and I'm sitting back in a consultation room in Leigh feeling somewhat stretched and extremely thirsty.
"You need to be relaxed," says the voice, now belonging to spiritual healer, clinical hypnotherapist, author and clairvoyant Mary Holt.
But what was that scene behind the door? Was it the scene from a film or was it a neolithic me – the stone age man?
Mary, who has had more than one trip to her former self, has little doubt.
She believes she has experienced 3,157 lives – travelling back 65,000 years to the distant planet of Andromodus before her life on Lumeria, which fought the citizens of Atlantis.
"Nobody ever dies," says Mary, "when death occurs it's time for the soul to leave its earthly life.
"The spirits go back to the spirit world where they live; our family are there, it's our home.
"We are here to learn so that our spirit grows and live permanently in the spirit world."
And the past life business is positively booming, possibly because we're coming back quicker than ever!
Mary said: "People used to come back 30 years after their death but it's speeded up and now it can be six years. It's moving quicker because it's a new millennium."
Mary made the extraordinary claim that for the past 15 lifetimes she's been the lover of famed poet William Wordsworth who is helping her write a series of books.
"It's not something I'm making up, I speak to him every day. We communicate through this crystal around my neck," she adds. They spend hours writing and it's already led to three novels.
