My money would be on the helicopter, but you would probable hear it. I could be a satalite as they tend to turn in the sky and appear to blink in and out as they turn away from the sun. The Space Station can also be seen on some nights and this appears as a bright moving light.

Its rather important that people in UK and elsewhere start to understand that new types of craft, reconnaissance from ETs is being deployed for unknown reasons to get info on Earth's Inhabitants. I strongly urge you all to get more serious and understand how important this video really is and how essential it is to get the recorder of the video to give statements to ufo research groups in entirety of the event seen. Google my name/word ufo "Steve Tobias ufo" to learn the latest in ufo research work i did in years 2006 and 2007.
If you still do not accept after reading more how serious the matter is i suggest you search youtube.com video using search phrase nasa ufos or nasa worm...it will show a cargo craft that was being tugged by a ufo (gold orb stays motionless in video) and the tug released the "worm" ufo as the NASA space crew went over head, the size of this craft is inestimable but could be at least a mile in length. Only NASA experts who decode the camera enlargement process can determine the size of the craft seen. The nature of its uncontrolled motion in zero gravity suggests to me-- a ufo researcher since 1991 that it contains biomass of some kind...the craft was being tugged to Earth or was transferring material from Earth to elsewhere. I am a Veteran of the US Air Force and your own nation's Military maintains secrets from you about ufos...wake up, learn, become motivated. other search phrase for google is "new jersey ufo".It will explain that there is increased ufo activity worldwide.

Saw about 100 of these things LOW over Liverpool on Saturday 13th January at just gone midnight.I got my son to come and watch.I went out and took the following photos.

They were only about 300ft up and God knows what they were.Forget planes and helicopters and Chinese lanterns etc.These things are REAL and very spooky.I have spent the last 6 weeks reading report after report of sightings of these in 2008 all over the world and also a possible secret UN meeting held on the the 12th Febuary in New York.
Too many people are seeing these for it to be ignored.

did you see them messenger - have you sent the images to ufo research groups...i was not able to see those images from those links-- can you email those images to ufo research groups ?

did you see them -- did you know there is a youtube video showing hundreds of spheres ? you ought to check youtube.com and keep looking til you see such videos similar to what you saw...might be a way for you to help inform the UK of serious ufo alien craft overflights of your island nation .

The photos look nothing like what I was photographing that night - they should look like BIG round Red/Orange lights - not blue detailed objects like you see.
I reported them to MOD and The CAA as low flying complaints as well as various ufo groups.After a lot of looking I find the subject is too messed up with In fighting ,fakes,wackos and military dis info and syops to realise I'll never get the answer.All I know is that there IS something going on above our heads that for some reason is being kept secret from us.The truth will come out and I just hope everyone is prepared for it what ever that maybe.These things looked and behaved very spooky.The one that stopped dirctly over the house was only a couple of hundred feet up and was like a football stadium flood light only red.All the birds in the garden hedge went quite and there was not a sound from anywhere.That was really scary
