Police are appealing for the public's help in tracing the next of kin of a man who died in Wigan.
Shortly before 3.45pm on Tuesday, police were called to a house in Melrose Avenue, Leigh, following reports from the ambulance service that a man had been found collapsed.
Officers attended and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
He was later identified as John Maurizi, 54.
There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death and the details have been passed to the coroner.
However, officers are now trying to trace any of Mr Maurizi's relatives.
It is believed he may have a son called Michael who now lives in Ireland.
Anyone with information about Mr Maurizi or who may know the whereabouts of his relatives are asked to call Wigan Police Station on 0161 872 5050.
