Armed raid at store

Terrified staff were threatened with an iron bar as thugs raided a Wigan store.
Detectives today appealed for witnesses to the robbery at the Co-operative store in Norley Hall Avenue, Norley.
Employees were working when two men, one armed with a blunt instrument, burst in at around 9.25pm last Friday.
They threatened the staff and snatched a small amount of cash from the till before fleeing across Norley Hall Road towards The Green.
The victims were said to be shaken but uninjured.
The first raider is described as white, between 5ft 8in and 6ft tall, of slim build and wearing dark clothing.
His accomplice was white, of medium build, between 5ft 3in and 5ft 6in tall. He was armed with the weapon and was wearing a white jacket and balaclava mask.
DC Paul Clayton, of Wigan CID, said: "Armed robbery is a serious offence that carries serious punishment and I am determined to bring these two offenders to justice.
"I would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time of
the robbery to come forward.
"I am especially keen to speak to anyone who may have seen two men matching the description of the offenders to come forward."
