Community sings its praises

Singing, martial arts and community pride made for a novel combination as Wigan and Leigh Housing tenants enjoyed at their conference.
The annual event took place at The Monaco Ballroom and this year's theme was Community Pride.
One highlight was the awards ceremony for the annual Tenants' Gardening Competition.

Other entertainment came in the form of Rose Bridge High School's choir. Then Wigan Leisure and Culture Trust's Active Living Team introduced everyone to an esoteric art from the mystic East with a tai chi demonstration.
