Police are growing increasingly concerned about a girl missing from her Southport home since last weekend.
Gemma Hammond, 14, who is also know as Gemma Griffiths, was last seen at home on Lynton Road in Southport at about 6pm on Saturday.

Her mum lives in Atherton and police appeal to people to keep an eye out for the teenager. Although Gemma has gone missing before, she usually returns within 48 hourss.

Gemma is known to spend time in Southport town centre, Liverpool centre and Atherton.

She is white, 5ft 4in tall and of medium build. She has shoulder length, straight, brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a red top and faded black jeans and a black coat with a furry hood and was carrying a red bag.

Call Southport Police on 0151 7773430.
