The funeral of a woman who was stabbed in her daughter's home will take place next week.
Leela Rao, 73, died from pneumonia in August while in Leigh Infirmary, where she had been since she was stabbed at her daughter's home on Collingwood Street, Standish, in February.

Her daughter, Geeta, 43, who was also stabbed, died in Wigan Infirmary a few hours after the incident took place.
A Hindu ceremony will take place with family and friends on Wednesday at her home on Collingwood Street at noon.

There will also be a service at Wigan Crematorium, Cemetery Road, Ince, at 1pm.
Mrs Rao's body was kept by the police for forensic examination to determine whether her death was linked to the injuries she sustained in February when she was stabbed.
The coroner's report concluded she died of a lung infection, which was recorded as pneumonia.

Mrs Rao's son, John Rao, 40, of Greenwood Road, Standish, has appeared at crown court to face charges of murder and the attempted murder of his mother, Leela, 73.
His trial date was originally set for August 18, but was put back and is now fixed for March 2. He is currently in custody.
