A school in Wigan was full of crazy characters for their literacy week.
Key stage two pupils from Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School dressed up as Roald Dahl characters and learned all about the author and his work.
The classroom was full of Willy Wonka's, Twits and Big Friendly Giants as they all entered the world of Charlie and his Chocolate factory.
They enjoyed a feast of cakes and even had a spot of George's Marvellous Medicine.
Rachel Draper, head of key stage two, said: "They loved it. They had a great time and it has helped their writing."
