A group of friends are trying to track down a Good Samaritan who saved them from a potential nightmare after their car broke down.
The mystery man bailed out the grateful lads after their motor conked out because the wrong fuel had been accidentally put into it.
And the man in question suggested that he had been prompted into the act of generosity by the recent news that his wife's life had been saved by major surgery.

As the engine of Mark Morgan's car began to splutter, there was a horrible dawning that he had just put unleaded fuel in his diesel Citroen Picasso.

The Ashton 21-year-old and pals Mark Oakes, Liam Oakes and Alan Fletcher had been playing football at the Soccer Dome at Robin Park, one evening and he bought a small amount of fuel at the nearby BP garage on Scot Lane.
But as the vehicle headed towards Wigan, it became obvious what he had just done.

What a great story.
In this time of crime and violence it is so refreshing to hear there are people out there who care about the welfare of others. God has truly blessed everyone concerned in this story, the mans wife and the mans actions. I truly hope and pray that this lady makes a full recovery. God Bless.
