Man faces rape charge

A Wigan man has appeared in court accused of rape.
Scott Robinson, 36, from Ashton, faced Liverpool Crown Court also accused of sexually touching the woman and witness intimidation.
He was further remanded in custody until August 26 when he is expected to enter his pleas.
A provisional trial date was fixed to begin on November 10.
