Wigan mum Julie-Anne Prescott couldn't wait to be thin.
The 41-year-old, of Richmond Road, Hindley Green, joined a slimming club and lost an incredible nine-and-a-half stone.
But despite all her efforts, she realised she still wasn't happy and her weight began to creep back on.

And it was a job in a special needs school, where one of her daughters attended that finally made her accept that her desire to be so thin was unrealistic.
Julie-Anne joined slimming club Slimmer's World in 2001 after she found it difficult to lift her two daughters, Elle, now 12, who has cerebral palsy and attended Mere Oaks Special School before it closed down, and Daisy, now 10.

She successfully slimmed down from 20st 13lb to 11st 6lb, losing nine-and-a-half stone.
Proud of her success, she became a slimming consultant for the group and won Consultant Slimmer of the Year in 2002.

But Julie-Anne found it difficult to maintain her weight and realised she was no more content being slimmer. She has since put on four stone, making her weight around 15 stone – but she couldn't be happier.
