A young woman who was sexually assaulted by the same man twice in three days fears he may be stalking other victims.
The 23-year-old, who today bravely breaks her silence over the traumatic assaults, says she is speaking out in a bid to prevent further attacks.

Louise – not her real name – says that moments before the second incident she recognised the teenaged assailant who at that point seemed to be pursuing another woman. But then he reverted his attention to Louise.

Both attacks took place on the busy Ormskirk Road in Pemberton at similar times in the evening and the office worker says she had been lulled into a false sense of security that such an attack could not happen twice in such a public place. He brazenly proved otherwise.
The first incident happened at 8.45pm on Wednesday, October 1.

Louise had been to the gym and was walking home up Ormskirk Road near to its junction with Enfield Street on the Norley side of the road. She said: "I saw a lad coming down the road towards me and when he drew level he grabbed hold of me and started molesting me and saying really lewd things.

"I carried on walking but he he came after me saying more lewd things. I speeded up. I have an ear infection at the moment so my hearing's not good.
"When I turned round later to see if he was still there he was just 30cm from my face. I told him to leave me alone and I carried on. The next time I looked back he had fallen back and by the time I reached the White Lion he had disappeared.

"I did not report it the first time. I thought it was a one-off incident and maybe he was drunk and pushing his luck.
"He was also only a lad, although I didn't like the fact that he was following me.
