Wigan man accused of domestic abuse walks free after the court case collapses

Kevin Banks, 40, of Bolton Road, Ashton, had entered a not guilty plea to a single charge of assaulting Kay Thompson by beating her on May 9 in Golborne.

But at the latest hearing the case was discontinued and the defendant was told he was free to go.
