Jewellery and cash stolen in burglary
Merseyside Police are appealing for information after unknown offenders broke into a property on Liverpool Road, Ashton-in-Makerfied between noon and 1pm on Tuesday, May 17.
After searching the property the thieves made off with two safes which contained Rolex watches, the jewellery and the cash.

Hide AdIt is believed that a dog belonging to the owners also had a substance sprayed in its face during the burglary.
A dark coloured Audi A6 was seen in the area at the time of the burglary and detectives are keen to speak to the occupants as they believe they may be able to help them with their enquiries.
CCTV and forensic opportunities have been explored and house to house enquiries have been carried out in the local area.
An enquiry is ongoing and officers have released photographs of some of the jewellery that was taken.

Hide AdDetective Constable Jeff Huxley said: “I would appeal to anyone who was in the vicinity of Liverpool Road and may have seen anyone acting suspiciously on the afternoon of May 17 to get in touch.
“Similarly I would ask anyone who believes they have been offered the jewellery for sale to contact us.”
