New auto centre is latest arrival in development of Robin Park site
Building work at the site behind Sports Direct continues apace and is one of several new units springing up at the retail park.
The In N’ Out car servicing centre received planning permission one year ago and is designed to be a “fast-fit option” for vehicle service, MOTs and repairs which runs on 30 minute appointment slots.

Shoppers will also have noticed the set of new units on the main area of the retail park are approaching completion including the Costa drive-through, Subway and EE outlets.
Planning documents for the autocentre submitted to the council read: “It is hoped that the proposal will help to promote further business within Robin Retail Park.
“It is also hoped that the project will enhance the portfolio of business and uses that the area as a whole has to offer, further enhancing and strengthening Wigan’s commercial and economic viability and sustainability.”

This will be in addition to the loss of parking spaces on the main area of the park due to the new units which could have a knock-on impact at peak times.
In N’ Out currently operates 18 outlets across the country including sites in Warrington, Liverpool and Leeds.
