Pair jailed for sickening catalogue of child sex crimes
Michael Miszczak was convicted of 10 charges, included child rape, indecent assault and child cruelty.
Sandra Jones was jailed for 14 years after being charged with four counts, including aiding and betting rape, assault occasioning actual bodily harm and child cruelty.

Hide AdMiszczak, 54, of Acorn Street, Newton, was jailed for 25 years plus an extended period of three years on license.
Jones, 52, of Promenade, Southport, was jailed for 14 years plus a year on extended license.
Det Chief Insp Chris Sephton said: “The victims in this case should be commended for their bravery in coming forward and supporting the investigation.
“They have shown great strength in giving evidence which has resulted in the conviction and lengthy sentence that has been passed today. I hope that their determination serves as inspiration for others.

Hide Ad“The crimes committed by Miszczak and Jones, are some of the most despicable crimes against children we have seen – no-one deserves to be treated this way and while today’s sentence cannot un-do the harm that has been caused, we hope it gives the victims some sense of justice.
“I would like to take this opportunity to reassure anyone who has suffered a sexual offence that if you too can find the courage to come forward and speak to us, we will deal with you sensitively and make sure that reports are properly and thoroughly investigated.”
